Simple, Transparent Pricing

Know Your Price Before You Ride

Private medical transportation shouldn't come with pricing surprises. AtlasCare offers simple flat-rate pricing based on trip distance, with included Wait & Return time when you book Wait & Return service.

Service Band One-Way Distance One Way Round Trip Wait & Return Time Included
Local Medical Transportation 0–10 miles $75 $150 30 min
Extended Local Medical Transportation 11–20 miles $95 $190 30 min
Regional Medical Transportation 21–30 miles $125 $250 30 min
Extended Regional Medical Transportation 31–45 miles $165 $330 60 min
Long-Distance Medical Transportation 46–60 miles $195 $390 60 min

When Wait & Return service is selected, the driver remains available during the appointment. Trips up to 30 one-way miles include 30 minutes of Wait & Return time. Trips of 31–60 one-way miles include 60 minutes. Additional time is $20 per 15 minutes.

Wait & Return is subject to availability and must be included in the confirmed reservation. Scheduled Return transportation is coordinated for a confirmed return pickup time and does not include driver waiting between trip legs. Will Call Return is for appointments with an uncertain end time where the passenger can safely wait: the driver leaves after drop-off and AtlasCare coordinates the return based on vehicle availability, so the vehicle is not reserved at the appointment location.

Advanced Positioning Chair (Broda Traversa): +$95 per trip (one-way or round-trip). Available for passengers who may benefit from tilt, recline, and elevated-leg positioning during transport.

One family member or caregiver rides at no additional charge.

Additional services, extended waiting, or transportation requirements outside the standard service may affect the final price. Your price is confirmed before your trip.

Built for Passenger Comfort and Safety

Advanced Positioning for Greater Comfort

Some passengers need more positioning support than a standard wheelchair can provide. AtlasCare offers the Broda Traversa advanced positioning wheelchair with tilt, recline and elevated-leg support for greater comfort during transportation.

For appropriate passengers who can safely travel seated, advanced positioning may provide an alternative when additional comfort and positioning are needed but stretcher transportation is not medically necessary.

The Broda Traversa does not replace medically necessary stretcher or ambulance transportation.

Reclined positioning Adjustable recline provides greater comfort and positioning support during longer trips.
Elevating, padded footrest Adjustable flip-down footrests help keep riders comfortably positioned for the full trip.
Crash-tested for safety The Traversa is WC19-certified and crash-tested to the same standard used across NEMT vehicles nationwide.
Smooth, low-vibration ride Every trip is driven with rider comfort in mind: smooth acceleration, careful turns, and an unhurried pace.

Seating adjustments are for rider comfort only and are not medical recommendations. Riders must be able to safely remain seated during transport.

Frequently asked questions

Planning Medical Transportation? Here’s What You Need to Know.

Whether you're arranging a hospital discharge, transportation to specialty care, or a ride for yourself or a family member, here's what to expect.

Can AtlasCare provide same-day hospital discharge transportation?

Yes. We accept same-day hospital and facility discharge requests based on availability. AtlasCare can provide wheelchair-accessible or ambulatory transportation from hospitals and care facilities to home, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, assisted living, or other post-acute destinations. For time-sensitive discharges, call 971-287-7766 for the fastest availability confirmation.

Is each AtlasCare ride private?

Yes. AtlasCare provides private transportation reserved for your trip. We do not combine unrelated passengers into the same ride. One family member or caregiver may also accompany most passengers at no additional charge.

What is the AtlasCare On-Time Guarantee?

Our On-Time Guarantee applies to your initial pickup. If your AtlasCare driver arrives after your confirmed initial pickup time, we’ll refund the applicable initial one-way fare.

For round-trip and Wait & Return transportation, the guarantee applies to the initial pickup only. The return portion of the trip is not covered by the On-Time Guarantee.

See our Terms of Service for complete terms and eligibility.

Do you provide wheelchair-accessible transportation?

Yes. AtlasCare provides wheelchair-accessible transportation for passengers who remain seated in their wheelchair during the journey. Our vehicles are equipped for safe wheelchair securement, and passengers who need additional comfort or positioning support may also request our Broda Traversa mobility chair.

Do you provide door-to-door assistance?

Yes. AtlasCare provides assisted door-to-door transportation. We help passengers safely navigate between the vehicle and the entrance of their home, hospital, clinic, or care facility. AtlasCare provides transportation assistance, not medical or clinical care.

Can a family member or caretaker ride with me?

Absolutely. One family member or caregiver may accompany the passenger at no additional charge.

What areas does AtlasCare serve?

AtlasCare is based in McMinnville and serves passengers throughout Yamhill County and surrounding communities, with regional transportation to medical centers in Portland, Salem, and beyond. Longer distance specialty-care transportation is also available based on trip requirements and availability.

Is Wait & Return included with every round trip?

No. AtlasCare offers three return arrangements: Scheduled Return, Will Call Return and Wait & Return.

All three are the same round-trip fare. With a Scheduled Return, AtlasCare returns at a confirmed pickup time. With Will Call Return, the driver leaves after drop-off and AtlasCare coordinates the return once the passenger is ready, based on vehicle availability — there are no wait-time charges. With Wait & Return, the driver and vehicle remain dedicated to the trip during the appointment; depending on trip distance, the confirmed reservation includes 30 or 60 minutes of Wait & Return time, with additional wait time at $20 per 15 minutes. Choose Wait & Return when the passenger needs on-site support while they wait. Availability and pricing are confirmed before booking.

When does Wait & Return time begin?

Included Wait & Return time begins after the passenger arrives at the destination and the arrival assistance or handoff is complete. It ends when the passenger is ready to depart and the return trip begins.

What happens if the appointment takes longer?

Medical appointments do not always run on schedule. If Wait & Return service is included in your confirmed reservation, trips up to 30 one-way miles include 30 minutes of Wait & Return time, and trips of 31–60 one-way miles include 60 minutes. Additional time is $20 per 15 minutes.

We’ll confirm the Wait & Return arrangement and included time before you reserve your transportation.

How much does transportation cost?

AtlasCare offers simple flat-rate pricing based primarily on one-way trip distance. One-way transportation starts at $75, with round trips starting at $150. When Wait & Return service is selected, included time is based on trip distance. See our pricing table above for common trip rates. We confirm your total price before your trip.

How do I pay for AtlasCare transportation?

AtlasCare offers direct private-pay scheduling without insurance authorization delays. Major payment cards are accepted, and HSA/FSA cards may be used for eligible medical transportation expenses, subject to your plan's rules.

How far in advance should I schedule?

Advance scheduling is recommended for specialty-care, long-distance, and recurring trips. Same-day requests are welcome based on availability, particularly for hospital and facility discharges. For transportation needed today, call 971-287-7766 for the fastest response.

What happens after I submit a ride request?

Once you submit your trip details, an AtlasCare team member will review the request, confirm availability and pricing, and contact you with next steps. Submitting a request does not obligate you to book the trip.
